Rogelio Machuca

He was born in California and raised in Las Vegas, NV. He attended Medical School in Nebraska and moved back to Las Vegas where he obtained his Family Medicine residency at UMC and served as Chief Resident. He opened up his own practice in 2011, Machuca Family Medicine, on the East Side of town to help the underserved community. Dr. Machuca saw the need for medical attention in this underserved area, in 2016 he integrated the medical clinic with behavioral health forming, Machuca Medicine, to provide treatment for behavioral and mental health patients.

Since 2014, Dr. Machuca has participated as a Principal Investigator in many clinical research trials including, but not limited to, Diabetes Type 1 and Type 2 trials, Infectious Disease trails, Consumer Device trials,
NASH/NAFLD/FIBROSIS trials, to name a few. The Machuca Foundation was named in his Grandfather's honor, Marcos P. Machuca for giving his life savings from working as a migrant farm worker to help Dr. Rogelio Machuca open his medical clinic directly from residency. The Foundation strives to help the underserved community just as he has done.
